| 10:30 a.m. - 11:20 a.m. | Energy Credits — Production Tax Credits for Wind and Certain Other Resources Our PTC panel will look carefully at how the PTC works and the how the credits benefit the investor. The panelists will discuss the kinds of facilities eligible for the production tax credit, the computation of the credit, the use of partnerships and LLCs to allocate the credit to an investor, how to be sure the facility is placed in service before legislative deadlines, and other fundamentals. |
| 11:30 a.m. - 12:20 p.m. | Energy Credits — Investment Tax Credits for Solar The members of our ITC panel will do a similarly comprehensive overview of the ITC that applies to solar projects. They will contrast the ITC with the PTC discussed previously, explain how the ITC is computed, what equipment and expenditures are eligible for the credit, and how they are allocated to an investor, as well as the placed in service and other issues relevant to the ITC. |

This panel will explore how tax credits, accelerated depreciation deductions and state rebate programs drive the investor’s returns from its equity investments. Don’t miss this session as we identify the key issues on the minds of today’s renewable energy investor. |
| 4:00 p.m. - 4:50 p.m. | Exit Strategies for the Investor An exit strategy is among the important aspects of any energy tax credit transaction. Panelists will examine how the investor exits the deal. Also to be discussed will be the use of “puts,” “calls” and “flips” and how the partners share cash and tax benefits over the course of the transaction. |

| 9:00 a.m. - 9:50 a.m. | The Role of Tax-Exempt Bonds in Renewable Energy The Clean Renewable Energy Bond (CREB) program was created for those businesses, such as cooperative electric companies and government bodies that are not eligible for the PTC or the ITC. Panelists will discuss how to work with these entities in order to maximize their ability to produce renewable energy. |

Attend this panel to help the sun shine on your deal. |
