Awards Judge Steve Ryan of Cox Castle & Nicholson congratulates Mary Jane Jagodzinski of CommunityHousing Works for the Turnagain Apartments of Fallbrook, California, which reflected the most innovative use of HUD financing in a tax credit project.

 


Rochelle Lento of Dykema Gossett congratulates Mark Thometz of Shelter Resources for the Compass Veterans Center – Renton of Renton, Washington, which took top honors in the Major Community Impact category.

 


Awards Judge Rochelle Lento congratulates Kathy Laborde of Gulf Coast Housing Partnership and Mark Lechner of LDG Development for the Muses Apartment Homes in New Orleans, Louisiana, which received an honorable mention in the Major Community Impact category.

 


Richard Gerwitz of Citi Community Capital with Kathy Laborde of Gulf Coast Housing Partnership and Mark Lechner of LDG Development. The Muses Apartment Homes of New Orleans took one of two top spots in the Overcoming Significant Obstacles category.

 


Awards Judge Richard Gerwitz congratulates Loni Willey of the Women’s Institute for Housing and Economic Development and the organization’s rehabilitation of The Franklin and The Eleanor of Bridgeport Connecticut, which also took top honors as a project that overcame significant obstacles.

 


Richard Gerwitz and  Corey Baldwin of the Vitus Group, which won an honorable mention for Overcoming Significant Obstacles in its development of the Christenson RD Portfolio in Palmer and Kodiak, Alaska.

 


Richard Gerwitz and Laurie Share of EAH Housing, which won an honorable mention for Overcoming Significant Obstacles in its development of Rohlffs Manor in Napa, California.

 


Thomas Morton of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman with Sonya Kaloyanides, Ilene Popkin and Andreas Spitzer of the New York City Housing Authority which was honored for the Innovative Financing of its NY-CHA Mixed Finance project.
