Third Annual JTC Developments of Distinction Awards
Nomination Form
The Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits (JTC) is pleased to sponsor the Third Annual JTC Developments of Distinction awards. The JTC Developments of Distinction awards recognize excellence and honor outstanding achievement in the development of projects using the low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC), historic tax credit (HTC), renewable energy tax credit (RETC), Section 1602 Exchange Program grant funds and/or tax credit projects using U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program financing. Those tax credit projects to be honored will have been placed in service in 2010/2011 and will either have:
- had a meaningful and major impact on their community;
- demonstrated financial innovation; or
- overcome significant obstacles in their development.
A panel of judges with wide-ranging expertise in the various tax credit industry sectors will review all entries.
Nominations are open to all with knowledge of a deserving project. Projects may be nominated in one or more of the categories listed below and may be a project you were involved with or simply one you deem deserving. A single nominating entity may enter more than one project in more than one category. Practitioners from all sectors of the tax credits industry are encouraged to submit nominations.
Winning developments and their project teams will be honored at the 18th Annual Tax Credit Developers Conference, January 13, Miami, Fla., featured in a special supplement to the Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits, highlighted on the Novogradac & Company website and YouTube channel and recognized in a national press release.
