To determine the census tract number for a particular address and view maps, visit the HUD User GIS Service Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Qualified Census Tract (QCT) Locator. For Guam and Northern Marianas Island locations, the SBA HUB Zone Locator may be used, however, it should be noted that not all HUB Zone qualified tracts are current QCTs for purposes of the LIHTC.
Census Tract Key
- State Code -- position 1-2 (example: 12129010202, 12 is the state code for Florida)
- County FIPS Code -- position 3-5 (example: 12129010202, 129 is the FIPS code for Wakulla County)
- Four-Digit Basic Census Tract Number -- position 6-9 (example: 12129010202, 0102 is the basic census tract number for that geographic area in Wakulla County)
- Two-Digit Numeric Census Tract Suffix -- position 10-11
(example: 12129010202 ,02 is the census tract suffix for the census tract 0102 in Wakulla County)
