Description:
FPC is working with a highly reputable Tax Credit Syndicator on their Compliance Manager/Director position. The qualified candidate will develop, implement and supervise policies, procedures, and systems aimed at ensuring that properties are in full compliance with all regulatory agreements and standards. In time this person will be expected supervise and monitor a staff of compliance analysts, as well as third party consultants.

This position supports compliance efforts with all State, Federal and Loan regulations for the entire multifamily portfolio. It also assists in interpreting and resolving Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and HUD compliance issues for multi-site managers and on-site personnel.

This position is located in the Greater New York City area.
Salary for this position is based on experience.

Responsibilties:
This position requires Minimum B.S./B.A., with MBA a plus
4-6 years experience in Tax Credit and/or HUD Compliance LIHTC Designation (HCCP, C3P, NCP, etc.)
Detail orientation with strong mathematical and accounting skills
Proven Leadership abilities
Knowledge and understanding of relevant LIHTC and HUD/State regulations and procedures
Ability to Participate/Organize annual staff workshops regarding changes to Fair Housing regulations, and other in-service training
Willingness to travel, as required
