Additional knowledge and skills desired are rental housing management; a thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations concerning tenant occupancy, subsidy eligibility, HUD housing programs, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, HOME, State Apartment Incentive Loan and Bond financed operating requirements, personnel management techniques; public speaking; oral and written communications; electronic data processing and data management systems. Asset management principles such as financial performance, operational performance, physical condition, market conditions, risk management, and compliance requirements are a plus. Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel; and basic knowledge of e-mail and internet usage is needed.

Job Responsibilities:
Florida Housing seeks a candidate with managerial and rental housing experience to supervise staff and oversee monitoring and asset management of affordable housing for compliance with federal, and state guidelines.

Requirements:
A successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution with a major in business administration, public administration or a related field and/or five to ten years of experience in housing management, housing development or administration; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. At least three years' supervisory experience is required. The designations of Certified Property Manager, Housing Development Finance Professional, and Housing Credit Certified Professional are preferred.
