Title: Senior Tax Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate with outside CPAs to prepare partnership & corporate tax returns.
Review partnership agreements to ensure profit/loss and tax credit allocations are done properly.
Prepare taxable income/loss and tax credit projections for investors.
Reply to federal & state notices regarding income and franchise tax returns.
Communicate to all entities action items required by the federal & state tax authority and verify that issues are resolved.
Assist in tax audits.
Conduct tax research.
Prepare multi-state and multi-tiered entity tax returns.
Ensure tax return filing deadlines & investor reporting deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
2-4 years accounting experience, GAAP accounting preferred, in a real estate tax environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Yardi & Lacerte.
Strong management, communication, organization and analytical skills are critical.
Highly motivated, detailed & self-sufficient.
High level of integrity & confidentiality.
