Do I have to create an account to purchase a product or register for an event online?
No. The option to create an account is provided as a convenience for customers but it is not required. If you choose to create an account in our online store, the next time you order a product or event registration from our web site you can log in using your e-mail address and password and you won’t have to re-enter your information.
If you prefer not to create an account, we will still process your order and/or registration. The next time you purchase a product or register for an event using this site, you will be asked to re-input your contact and payment information.
How secure is your site?
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
If I create and account, how will my personal information be used?
Novogradac & Company LLP will use the information you submit to process your purchase or registration. Novogradac & Company LLP does not share any information with third-party marketers. Seven to 10 business days after receipt of payment.

Yes, overnight and 2nd day delivery.
Do I pay for sales tax?
California residents only, please add appropriate sales tax to your order: San Francisco 8.5%, Los Angeles 8.25%, and all other California residents 7.25%.

What shall I do if I received a damaged item?
If you received a damaged item, we recommend that you contact Novogradac & Company LLP immediately. You can usually find contact information listed in the shipping information that came with the item. We'll ask you to indicate the number of items you're returning, the reason for return, and whether you would like a company credit or a replacement item sent to you.

Can I order back issues of your monthly newsletter? Are individual articles available?
Yes. Just specify the name of the newsletter, month and year of the periodical and specify if you want it emailed or mailed to you.
Individual articles (please provide title in addition to foregoing newsletter information) will be sent via email only. Back issues or articles will be sent upon receipt of payment. See below for cost.

Can I use my product credit for an event that I would like to attend to or vice versa?
Unfortunately, product credits can not be used for any event or workshop registration. Same rules apply with an event credit — it can not be applied to any product purchase. But it is transferable in the event you would like to give it to a colleague. Any type of company credit with Novogradac & Company expires after one year from the date of issue.
What is Novogradac & Company LLP’s cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be made in writing and must be received no later than ten (10) days before an event. A $100 administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds. We regret that we cannot refund cancellations made within 10 days of the conference or to registrants who do not attend the conference. Confirmed registrants who fail to attend and do not cancel will be charged the entire registration fee.
How much does it cost to attend a conference?
Novogradac offers different rates for non-profit and corporate attendees. The current early-bird, non-profit rate for a conference is $475; the early-bird, corporate rate is $575. A $50 increase will be put into effect after the expiration of the designated early-bird date. Four or more attendees from the same company are eligible for a group rate of $525 per person.
In conjunction with the conference, Novogradac offers a pre-conference with each full conference. The cost of these is not included in the conference registration fee and must be registered for separately. The Tax Credit Basics workshop is an additional $150 with conference registration, or $225 alone; the LIHTC and Bond Financing workshop is an additional $295 with conference, or $395 alone and the New Markets Tax Credit Basics is $150 with conference registration, or $225 alone.

Are there one-day rates?
All of Novogradac & Company LLP Tax Credit Property Compliance Workshops offer the choice of attending either one or two days. The one day rate is $395; the two day rate is $595. When registering for the one-day rate, please state which day you will be attending so we can plan accordingly. Please note, the one-day rate is applicable only to Property Compliance Workshops.
What materials are provided at the conference and who presents them?
All sessions are presented live by industry practitioners. The sessions include individual presentations, panel discussions and question-and-answer periods. All registrants receive a comprehensive reference manual at the beginning of the program. The conference does not require any prerequisite coursework. Full conferences are designed for participants with at least a basic knowledge of the subject matter: low-income housing tax credits, tax-exempt housing revenue bonds or new markets tax credits.
Do conferences offer CPE/CLE credits to attendees?
Novogradac & Company LLP is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Novogradac & Company LLP issues CPE certificates to each attendee following every conference/workshop. For those seeking CLE credits, Novogradac & Company LLP is not registered as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CLE Sponsors but would be happy to provide attendees with the information they need to submit to state boards to qualify for CLE credits.
