Nonprofit developer Self-Help Ventures Fund put the 145,000 square feet Mill House building—a key part of the 43-acre former Revolution Mill textile campus—back into use as mixed use facility featuring commercial offices for small businesses, retail and restaurant space, and 33 mixed-income apartments. HTC syndicators National Trust Community Investment Corporation (federal) and Foss & Company (state) committed approximately $5 million in federal HTC equity and $6.7 million in state HTC equity. The Mill House property is expected to create 315 construction jobs and 323 new permanent jobs, and is the final piece of restoring a broader campus totaling over 600,000 square feet of historic properties.
