A note from the conference chairman:

We look forward to welcoming investors, developers, syndicators and other affordable housing colleagues to a landmark event this May: Novogradac’s 25^th Annual Affordable Housing Conference in San Francisco.

A lot has changed since our first conference in 1994: The low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) became a permanent part of the tax code and became America’s most successful private-public partnership, the nation went through two recessions and continued to see LIHTC housing built, and we saw the most significant tax reform in a generation. We now look forward to welcoming industry leaders to our conference and encourage you to add your name to the list of attendees.

We’ve tailored the agenda to address the topics that are most important to those in the affordable housing world, including:

• how tax reform affects affordable housing, including pending legislation to expand and improve the LIHTC,
• what’s happening with equity pricing as we near the halfway point of 2018,
• the growth of 4 percent bond transactions and how it affects LIHTC developers and investors,
• a review of specialized LIHTC development, such as veterans housing and permanent supportive housing.

Networking abounds at this event, with opportunities to meet with leading professionals, including members of the Novogradac & Company LLP low-income housing tax credit practice, before and after each session. On Thursday, you can also attend our first-ever Young Professionals and Newcomers breakfast, where you can make contacts and learn how to get the most out of the conference.
