Bill to Increase LIHTC Allocation by 50 Percent Introduced in House
Rep. Suzan DelBene, D-Wash., today introduced the Access to Affordable Housing Act, according to a press release from her office. The bill would increase the federal low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) allocation by 50 percent. Reps. Adam Smith, D-Wash., and Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., are cosponsors of the legislation. DelBene, a member of the tax-writing House Ways and Means Committee, is also a cosponsor of the Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act.
