Friday, November 19, 2021 - 4:00pm

The California Debt Limit Allocation Committee (CDLAC) today released a memorandum with an application deadline for properties in difficult development areas (DDAs) and qualified census tracts (QCTs) that expire in 2021. New DDAs and QCTs will be effective Jan. 1, 2022. Affordable housing properties financed by private activity bonds (PABs) and 4% low-income housing tax credits (LIHTCs) located in 2021 DDAs or QCTs that lose that status in 2022 are eligible if they submit a complete application to CDLAC by Dec. 17. All applications material must be included.

The Nov. 23 Tax Credit Tuesday podcast will focus on what 2021 DDAs and QCTs mean to developers.
