CDFI Fund Publishes FAQs, Worksheets for CDFIs in Certification Cure Period
The Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund today published a CDFI Certification Cure Period Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document to inform CDFIs that are in a cure period how to resolve certification-related deficiencies. The CDFI Fund previously announced a six-month blackout period to prepare for the launch of a revised CDFI certification application and reporting requirements, a period during which CDFIs must maintain a state of good standing with respect to their certification status. Those CDFIs currently in a certification cure period must adhere to specific deadlines and deliverables related to the cure requirement and failing to do so could result in a loss of certification. The CDFI Fund also published specific certification-related cure period worksheets.
