CONGRESS EXTENDS THE SECTION 1603 CASH GRANT PROGRAM
The House last night passed the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization and Job Creation Act of 2010 by a vote of 277-148. The Senate approved the bill on December 15 by a vote of 81-19. The president is expected the sign the bill into law today. Among other things, the measure extends for one year, through 2011, payment of Section 1603 grants in lieu of energy tax credits.
