House Financial Services Committee Calls for Billions in Rental Assistance, Homelessness Funding

COVID-19 relief legislation to be considered Wednesday by the House of Representatives includes House Financial Services Committee provisions that include $25 billion in emergency rental assistance, $5 billion for homelessness funding, $10 billion for homeowner assistance funding and $10 billion for state small business credit initiative. The Financial Services Committee provisions will be added to the $1.9 trillion stimulus package that will be considered by the House and Senate.
