HOUSE TO HOLD ADDITIONAL TAX EXTENDERS HEARING
Ways & Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp, R-Mich., announced last week that the Select Revenue Subcommittee would hold a hearing on the tax extenders in early June. Camp announced the hearing during remarks made May 17 at the Federal Policy Group’s 2012 Tax, Budget and Legislative Policy Seminar. He stressed that the House of Representatives would not make any decisions about tax extenders before the hearing. Rumors are circulating that the hearing, led by Chairman Patrick Tiberi, R-Ohio, may be held on June 8.
On June 7, Rep. Tiberi will deliver the keynote address at the Spring New Markets Tax Credit Conference in Washington, D.C. Want to be front and center for that address? Click here to register for the June 7-8 conference.
