HUD Announces Supplemental Administrative Fee Funding Made Possible Through CARES Act

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) today announced the allocation of $380 million in supplemental administrative fee funding to public housing authorities (PHAs). The two months of additional funding may be used by PHAs for traditional administrative fees, as well as for new costs associated with helping families and employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The funding is available through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
