HUD to Establish Expedited Process for Review of PHA Relief Requests in Disaster Areas

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will publish a notification in Thursday’s Federal Register to establish an expedited process for the review of requests for relief from HUD Section 8 and public housing requirements by public housing agencies located in counties that are included in presidentially declared major disaster declarations in calendar years 2020 and 2021.
