HUD Proposes Increase in Information Collection on PBVs

Monday, December 23, 2019 - 10:15am

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will publish in Thursday’s Federal Register a proposal for the expansion of information it collects on project-based vouchers (PBVs)–which have become more widespread with the expansion of HUD’s Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program. HUD proposes to collect data including the number of PBV units, the number of bedrooms, structure type, the number of RAD PBVs, expiration date, population served, supportive services available and more through an online form. HUD currently does not systematically collect information on the development or project level for PBVs. Comments on the proposal are due Feb. 24, 2020.

Learn about this proposal and more at the Novogradac 2020 RAD Public Housing Conference, Jan. 9-10 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla
