The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) published in Monday’s Federal Register a notice and request for comments on Revenue Procedure 2014-49, which provides relief from certain requirements for low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) properties, owners, housing credit agencies or states affected by a major disaster area declared by the president. Comments are due no later than July 21 as to whether the current collection of information is required; ways to enhance the quality, utility and clarity of the information collected; ways to minimize the burden of collecting information and more.
