Michigan Allocates More than $6M in LIHTCs

A total of 552 units of affordable rental housing will be built or renovated for low- and moderate-income Michigan families, the elderly, people with disabilities and those at risk of homelessness as a result of more than $6 million in low-income housing tax credit (LITHC) allocations approved by the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA), the agency announced this month. MSHDA acting executive director Rick L. Laber said the entire $6,281,599 total was awarded in distressed areas and rural communities throughout the state.
