Oklahoma Bill Would Cut Annual State LIHTC Allocation in Half to $2 Million

A bill on the desk of Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt would reduce the annual state low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) amount by half. S.B. 2760 would cut the annual allocation of Oklahoma state LIHTCs from $4 million to $2 million and would be effective retroactive to Jan. 1. The legislation passed the House by a 59-41 vote and the Senate by a 25-20 vote.
