Senate Committee Holds Hearing on Preservation of Affordable Housing

This year, credits are set to expire for the first 23,000 units of affordable housing produced with the low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) program. The Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Housing and Transportation Subcommittee met yesterday for a hearing on the preservation of this and other affordable housing.
