State Senators Introduced Bill to Create Arizona State LIHTC

Tuesday, January 26, 2021 - 9:45AM

A bill introduced in the Arizona Legislature would create a state low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) equal to at least 50% of the federal LIHTC. S.B. 1327, introduced by nine state senators, would create a credit for properties placed in service after June 30, 2022, with an $8 million annual statewide cap. The state LIHTC would have a sunset date of Dec. 31, 2028.
