Texas Allocates Reservations for 2000 LIHTC Application Cycle

The Texas tax credit allocating agency announced its low-income housing tax credit (LIHC) reservations for its 2000-application cycle, July 27. Demand outpaced supply by a ratio of more than 1-to-4. Some 179 applicants requested a total of $109.4 million, while just $21.8 million in credit authority was available.
