Treasury Publishes Emergency Rental Assistance Program Details, Including Jan. 12 Deadline

U.S. Department of the Treasury today published details concerning the $25 billion available through the Emergency Rental Assistance program, including a deadline of Tuesday, Jan. 12, at 11:59 p.m. ET to ensure payments are made within a 30-day period. Treasury also published grantee award terms and a submission form. The assistance was made available through the COVID-19 relief bill signed into law Dec. 27. Payments will be made directly to states, U.S. territories, local governments with more than 200,000 residents, the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands and Indian tribes.
