Property Compliance Briefs

Colorado Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) sent a notice March 16 detailing updated compliance information during the COVID-19 pandemic. The notice stated that on-site tax credit and CHFA loan compliance monitoring and site visits were delayed until May 1. The notice also reiterated that several U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development inspections and reviews have been suspended indefinitely.

The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) sent a notice March 20 with updates on compliance information and dates during the COVID-19 pandemic. The notice states that audited annual financial statement submissions have a 30-day extension and that all asset management site visits are suspended until further notice. CHFA is awaiting further guidance on how to proceed with Internal Revenue Code-required site inspections. In a separate notice, CHFA announced that that the submission deadline for first quarter 2020 reports was extended until April 29.
