The California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (CTCAC) issued a message Aug. 23 to program users regarding Tenant Income Certification (TIC) and the Tenant Household Information forms (THIF). The message was sent due to recent and minor updates to the forms. Under disability status for both the TIC and THIF forms, the link for the definition of “physical or mental impairment” was updated, as the old link was no longer functioning. In addition, CTCAC made some minor formatting corrections throughout. The new forms should be in use no later than Nov. 1.

CTCAC issued a memo Aug. 16 reminding program participants of the bond issuance and post-issuance compliance policy requirements and guidelines. The purpose of the memo was to remind issuers of the new bond issuance and post-issuance compliance policy submission requirements contained in CDLAC Regulation 5031(c) (adopted Dec. 15, 2016). Issuers that received an allocation of bonds after January 2013 must submit their policies no later than Dec. 31. The full memo is available at www.taxcredithousing.com.
