Lindsey Sutton is a partner for the Government Consulting and Valuation Advisory Services (GoVal) group in the Austin, Texas, office of Novogradac. Ms. Sutton has more than 10 years of professional experience and extensive knowledge in market analysis and valuation of multifamily properties in the affordable housing industry. She has performed various types of multifamily analyses, feasibility studies, rent comparability studies, partnership valuations and appraisals for residential and commercial developments funded by low-income housing tax credits and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), as well as the U.S. Department of Agricultural Rural Development. She also specializes in consulting for syndicators, developers and lending agencies with extensive experience for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Additionally, Ms. Sutton has extensive knowledge of the HUD Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program and has provided appraisal and other various consulting services under RAD. Ms. Sutton provides consulting services including various model building for mixed-use and multifamily assets. Ms. Sutton received her bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas State University. She is a certified general appraiser and licensed in Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Colorado, Georgia, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Washington. She is also currently a candidate for designation.
