Mark Mischke, CPA


Mark Mischke is a principal in the Chicago office of Novogradac & Company LLP. Mr. Mischke has more than 20 years of experience providing accounting, auditing and tax services to nonprofit, for-profit and management companies. His nonprofit experience includes membership organizations, health-and-welfare organizations, and foundations and educational institutions, as well as developers. In addition, his experience includes providing real estate clients with services related to U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) developments, as well as market residential and commercial real estate. Mr. Mischke has significant experience preparing HUD and state agency LIHTC cost certifications, audits, reviews and compilations, as well as syndication and investment fund real estate experience. Mr. Mischke’s strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, generally accepted auditing standards, generally accepted government auditing standards (GASAS), HUD audit guide and various HUD handbooks enables him to consistently provide outstanding accounting and auditing services to his clients in the real estate, health care and nonprofit industries. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northeastern Illinois University and is licensed as a certified public accountant in Illinois.
