Stacey Watanabe joined Novogradac in 2014 as a human resources manager and was promoted to director of human resources in 2020. She has more than 20 years of broad human resources experience, both with private industry employers and in the higher education field. She began her career in HR generalist roles, and then moved into more specialized positions to hone her expertise in the areas of employee relations, performance management, organizational development, compliance and HR operations. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Boston University and has attained both the Professional in Human Resources certification and Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional certification.
