About the Novogradac DDA and QCT Mapping Tool
Disclaimer: The data presented below are provided as a reference and the validity of the data cannot be guaranteed. Official determination of being located in a QCT or DDA should be based on HUD’s mapping tool.
This tool and the data in the searchable map below reflects boundaries and year-to-year changes in difficult development areas (DDAs) and qualified census tracts (QCTs) for 2022, as announced by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in October 2021. Low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) properties in DDAs and QCTs are qualified to increase their eligible basis by up to 30 percent for new construction and rehabilitation costs.
